MEC 900 barrier is produced using top quality materials and is designed to be strong and capable to bear the mechanical stress during the open and close cycles. The air-cooled electric motor is housed in a cabinet and can work continuously without undergoing any alteration to its working functions. The beam can be supplied with reflective stickers, signal lamps and flashing lamp on request. Barriers with arms from 6 to 8m are safety edge and aluminium fence. When strict limits are to be met, a special folding arm can be supplied.

Oil-hydraulic, compact barrier with rounded edge beam made of anodized aluminium. The beam is operated by an electro-hydraulic system where the motor/pump are all in one unit. Fast and quiet, fitted with a braking device both in open/up and close/down cycles. When approaching the end of the permitted up and down travels , the beam is dampened to a final stop position by the brake, which is incorporated in the oil-hydraulic jack. In the down/closed position, it is recommended that the beam rests on a support which is either fixed to the ground or to the beam, folding on the way up. The electronics, easy to connect , are designed to meet various requirements of command. It is fully automatic if connected to a magnetic loop detector etc. "Barri 88" is as standard available in 4 or 3.0 m beam length , speed 4/5 seconds. The housing has a lockable door providing protection and access to the mechanism either for fixing or setting , and installation operations. Epoxy painted, and galvanic treated to make it resistant to any weather conditions.
